I Quote Saturdays – together we shine

Waking up this morning, after a dinner conversation with friends last evening, my positive energy snapped. I looked out to embrace the sun shining brightly, seeping into the smallest crevices of my home, casting shadows on my floor, reminding me to dust. A gentle nudge of light often renews energy. As I warmed up to what the day, perhaps the month and year might hold, for me, for all of us, I found this quote.

  3. What a beautiful message. Need it now more than ever, MM. I’m so worried about our future. What’s it going to be like? I miss President Obama already! Just a few more weeks and we will be falling without a net to catch us. Yikes.

    1. Monica, I’m now at a loss for words. I wake up each morning to the news of gloom and doom as I call it. As positive as I am, I cannot fathom the message that global warming does not exist ( What)? or deal with the fact that people with very little experience are appointed to positions that are so far from their beliefs, that I hold so much anxiety and worry for our future. We certainly seem to be falling without that net. I sent you an email.

      1. Thank you, MM. Got your email. Haven’t had a moment to respond. Life is crazy these days. I’m running on fumes. Sigh.

      2. Don’t I know it, Monica. It’s totally okay. I wanted to say more than I would in our comments section – I have rather a lot to say about what we will face in the next 4 years.

  4. I haven’t forgotten that I want to write you. So much to say. But I’ll be off next week and have a couple of days before the kids arrive, so I will write then. Goodness, that man has me in a stew.

    1. I look forward to it Monica, I feel like I’m part of a t.v. show – a very bad one.
